TREADFEST 2008

WORS Mountain Bike Race #2

May 17th & 18th, 2008

Grand Geneva Resort Lake Geneva, WI

TREADFEST II showcases a trail system built by mountain bike racers at the Grand Geneva. The 2008 trail features newly builT race course options with a variety of terrain and technical features for all levels of riders. Course high lights include the infamous "Colorado Heartbreaker" rock garden, fast winding single track, and over a 1/2 mile of newly added terrain for the novice riders. The Mountain Top Lodge offers great indoor and outdoor viewing of the trail system for family and friends.

TREADFEST will also feature a consumer expo and other various activities including: a casual, warm-up ride on Saturday morning, Club Tread Learn to Race Clinic on Saturday afternoon, a pasta feed Saturday night at the popular Next Door Pub, and onsite massages by Body & Soul. Check the Club Tread website, www.skinnysclubtread.com, for an updated event calendar.

The TREADFEST course is designed and built by racers for racers. The layout brings out the best of what the Mountain Top Ski Hill has to offer as it shifts from tight, technical single-track to wide-open big ring double track for multiple passing options. The knee burning climbs are rewarded with fast and fun descents which will bring a smile to any racers face. Racers will hear the roar of the crowd as the course brings you to the finish in front of the spectator friendly Mountain Top Lodge.
